As a Korean and English language educator, I’ve always believed that learning a new language should be enjoyable, engaging, and rewarding.
I created this workbook to help children, parents, and beginning Korean learners develop a strong foundation in Hangul, the Korean writing system.

What Makes This Korean Alphabet Workbook Special?
Hangul is a fascinating writing system known for its logical structure. However, recognizing unfamiliar letters and learning how to write them correctly takes practice.
That’s why I designed this workbook to combine colorful visual learning with guided handwriting activities.
Learn All 19 Korean Consonants and 21 Vowels
The workbook introduces 19 Korean consonants and 21 vowels, helping learners become familiar with the essential building blocks of written Korean.
Practice Writing Korean Letters
Guided tracing and writing exercises help learners develop familiarity with Korean letter shapes and stroke order.
Build Familiarity with Korean Words
Illustrated lesson examples introduce Korean syllables and simple words, helping learners understand how consonants and vowels work together.
Colorful, Engaging Learning Pages
The workbook features colorful illustrations, organized lessons, and practice activities designed to make learning Hangul more approachable.
A Look Inside the Workbook
One of my favorite parts of creating this book was designing the learning pages.
For example, the workbook introduces the Korean syllable 가 (ga), showing how the consonant ㄱ and vowel ㅏ combine to form a syllable.
Through tracing, handwriting practice, and review activities, learners can gradually build confidence in recognizing and writing Korean letters.
The large 8.5 × 11-inch paperback format provides plenty of room for writing practice.

Who Is This Workbook For?
This Korean alphabet workbook is a great starting point for:
- Children beginning to learn Korean
- Korean-American families teaching Hangul at home
- Homeschooling parents
- Adult beginners interested in Korean
- Korean language teachers and tutors
- K-pop and K-drama fans who want to start reading Korean

Why I Created This Book
As someone who has spent years teaching Korean and English, I know how meaningful it can be when a student recognizes their first Korean letter or writes their first Korean word.
I wanted to create a workbook that makes those early learning experiences easier and more enjoyable.
From organizing the lessons to designing the colorful pages, this book has been a personal project filled with creativity, patience, and care.
After many revisions and careful adjustments, I’m especially happy to finally share the finished book with learners and families.
For me, this workbook represents more than a collection of handwriting exercises. It’s an opportunity to share the beauty of the Korean language and help learners connect with Korean culture.
